About NEST (National Entrance Screening Test) Exam


NEST (National Entrance Screening Test) is an entrance exam conducted jointly by National Institute of Science Education and Research (NISER), Mumbai University - Department of Atomic Energy Centre for Excellence in Basic Sciences.

It is conducted for admission in 5-year Integrated MSc programme in basic sciences – Biology, Chemistry, Mathematics and Physics.

NEST Exam is conducted every year in the month of June. This year the exam will be conducted on 02nd June 2018. So, if you want to appear in the exam, then you should satisfy all the eligibility conditions first.

NEST Exam is conducted in five subjects:

About IIT JAM (Joint Admission test for Masters)

IIT JAM is Joint Admission test for MSc. It is an entrance test to get admitted in IITs, NITs, or IISc to pursue M.Sc (Four Semesters), Joint M.Sc.-Ph.D, M.Sc.-M.Tech., M.Sc.-Ph.D Dual Degree & other courses.

IIT JAM Exam is conducted by different IITs every year. This year IIT JAM Exam was conducted by IIT Bombay. Last year, in 2017 it was conducted by IIT Delhi.

IIT JAM exam is conducted in seven subjects:

  • Physics
  • Chemistry
  • Mathematics
  • Mathematical Statistics
  • Biological Science
  • Biotechnology
  • Geology


Candidates can give the exam for maximum of two subjects. But the subjects the candidate chooses must not be conducted in the same session.

About GSAT (GITAM Science Admission Test) Exam

About MCAER CET Exam


MCAER CET Exam is conducted by Maharashtra Council of Agricultural Education and Research (MCAER), Pune for admission in UG and PG courses offered in State Agricultural Universities in Maharashtra.

For postgraduate course admissions, the final merit list for admission in State Agricultural Universities in Maharashtra will be prepared by allotting 70% weightage to marks secured by the candidates in MCAER CET exam and the remaining 30% weightage is given to the student’s CGPA score.

MCAER CET Exam contains 200 questions which have to be completed by candidates in two hours duration. For every correct answer, candidates will be awarded one mark and there is no negative marking in MCAER CET Exam.

MCAER CET 2018 Exam will be conducted on 23rd, 24th & 25th March 2018.

About OUAT Entrance Exam


OUAT Exam is an entrance exam conducted for admission in undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral courses. It is conducted by Orissa University of Agriculture and Technology (OUAT).

You can pursue undergraduate and postgraduate courses in Agriculture, Horticulture, Veterinary Science and Animal Husbandry, Agricultural Engineering and Technology, Fishery Science, Home Science & Forestry.

OUAT Exam pattern is different for UG, PG and PhD courses. For MSc (PG) courses, the exam will be of 100 marks and candidates will be given 2 hours for the exam. Exam consists of objective type questions of 40 marks and short answer type questions of 60 marks.
