Here is the year-wise list of IIT JAM organising Institute from 2011 to 2018.

IIT Delhi (2011)

IIT JAM was conducted by IIT Delhi in 2011. 

IIT Bombay (2012)

IIT Bombay successfully conducted Joint admission test for masters in 2012 as JAM organising Institute. Exam was held on 12th Feb 2012. This was 3 months earlier than past years. The result, admit card & other deadlines were also early. Major participating institutes which accepted JAM 2012 score cards were following:

IIT Delhi (2013)

 JAM 2013 was conducted on Sunday, 10th Feb, 2013 by IIT Delhi(JAM organising Institute). Major participating institutes were following:

• IIT HYDERABAD  
• IIT KANPUR
• IIT KHARAGPUR 
• IIT MADRAS 
• IIT BHBANESHWAR

There were 9 subjects for which exam was conducted namely Physics, Chemistry, Computer Application, Biological Science, Biotechnology, Geophysics, Geology, Mathematics, Mathematical Statistics.

IIT Kanpur (2014)

IIT Kanpur conducted JAM exam for very first time in 2014. It was held on 9th February 2014. Participating institutes were same as the previous year. Only IIT MADRAS was added to this list.

However subjects Geophysics & Computer Application were discontinued. Paper was divided in two parts - part 1 was objective & part 2 was subjective.

Online application & fee was also revised.

IIT Guwahati (2015)

IIT Guwahati organized the exam on 8th Feb 2015. IIT Ropar also became a participating institute that year. Exam was held in online mode only. All the seven test papers were divided in three parts MCQ, MSQ & NAT.  The brochure is given in PDF form for JAM 2015.

IIT Madras (2016)

IIT Madras was the one which conducted IIT JAM in 2016. Apart from previous year institutes IIT Patna also participated in the JAM exam organized by IIT Madras. Exam date was 7th Feb 2016. No suitability test or interview was conducted for the admission of offered Masters degree programs. 

IIT Delhi (2017) 

IIT Delhi has organised the JAM exam 2017 on 12th Feb 2017. Following Institutes participated:

IIT Bombay (2018)
